EasyJet has said it will resume some flights on 15 June, with all passengers and cabin crew told to wear face masks amid the coronavirus pandemic. The company said it would likely operate domestic flights only within the UK and France from 15 June and will add further routes over the coming weeks. Stocks rose more than 3.5% after the announcement. The airline’s shares plunged 60% in the year to date. In addition, the company said that it would continue to promote its mobile app, which avoids paper boarding passes. Its rival low-cost carrier Ryanair announced that it plans to return to 40% of its schedule in July. Earlier this week, the firm revealed a hacking of its digital systems that exposed personal details of nine million customers.
