Goldman buys Capital Vision
The bank’s merchant-banking division is set to buy Capital Vision Services LP, which manages MyEyeDr. optometry centres. The deal is reported to be valued at $2.7 billion including debt.

Capital Vision supports independent optometrists and practices affiliated with the optometry practice management company MyEyeDr. Goldman will buy Capital Vision from private equity firm Altas Partners LP and Canadian pension fund Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. As a reminder, last month, Goldman was in talks to buy B&B Hotels from private equity firm PAI Partners in a deal which could be worth $2.1 billion.
