Huawei asks US court to throw out federal ban
The Chinese tech giant filed a summary judgment in the case against the U.S. The company said it will ask a US court to throw out US legislation that bars federal agencies from buying its products.

Huawei filed suit against the US bill in March, saying that the US Congress had failed to provide evidence to support its restrictions on company’s products. As a reminder, the Trump administration claims the company could use its equipment to spy on behalf of the Chinese government and is thus a threat to international cybersecurity. The U.S. Commerce Department recently placed Huawei on its "Entity List," effectively barring U.S. firms from selling their technology to it and other Chinese firms without government approval.
