T-Mobile reveals mixed preliminary quarterly results

In its latest preliminary report, T-Mobile revealed that they were able to add 1.7 million total customers and 1.6 million postpaid net additions during the last quarter of 2020. As a whole, the firm was able to add a total of 5.6 million customers in 2020. T-Mobile revealed that they are now able to cover 106 million individuals with its Ultra Capacity 5G by the end of 2020. The company also reported fourth-quarter earnings that missed forecasts and revenue that topped expectations. T-Mobile US announced earnings per share of $0.4823 on revenue of $19.91 billion versus $0.4848 on revenue of $19.86 billion expected. Earlier this week, T-Mobile reached an agreement to buy Sprint-branded assets from a municipal utility-owned affiliate serving parts of South Dakota and Iowa, one of the last remaining Sprint affiliates. The company’s stocks finished 0.245 lower on Wednesday.
